In continuous Glucose production process, a highly acidic environment is vital for chemical interactions under high pressure and temperature, obtained by addition of sulfuric acid to starch syrup, reducing PH to 1°,prior to reaction. After reacting in heat exchangers or jet cockers and refining processes, by adding soda PH increased to standard level of 6.5°before concentrating. Acid addition procedure is carried out at a higher rate in large tanks with long time constant and delaying effect on the pH while rapidly changes of conductivity. In contrast, soda neutralization is performed in smaller tanks with less flow rates, rapidly increases pH. System is a complete control package consists of many EC, PH and Flow sensors continuously measuring solution properties, and decide to how manages dosing pumps and analog control valves benefiting of adaptive controller and real-time feedback of both stages and final glucose PH after concentration. System updated continuously and has been built and installed in 9+ plants. Latest design is manufactured compatible with strict filtration and purification standards for pharmaceutical use.
